Huainan Pingwei Power Plant
Project Overview：
Anhui Huainan Pingwei Power Generation Co., Ltd, with a design scale of 24000MW, is constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project is 2X600MW coal-fired sub-critical generating units imported from abroad and manufactured domestically, which were put into operation in 1990 and 1992 respectively, and the second phase of the project is to expand 2X600MW supercritical coal-fired generating units. This project is to add flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) devices to the 2x600MW coal-fired sub-critical generating units of Phase I. The site of Phase I is located in Huainan. The site of Phase I project is located in Pingwei rural area on the north bank of Huaihe River about 17km west of Huainan City. On the north side of the site, Fuyang-Hefei railway passes through, along the railway 2km to the east of the railway and highway Huaihe River Bridge, 7km to the west of Panji Railway Station, and Pingwei looks across the Huaihe River 11.0-15.0km to the east of Huainan Tianjiaan Power Plant and Luohuayi Power Plant.
Power Generation Assembly：
The boiler of the first-phase project of Pingwei Power Plant (2×600MW) is a single-furnace inverted U-shaped arrangement.
Ping Wei Power Plant Phase II Project (2 × 600MW) unit, the boiler for the supercritical parameters produced by the Harbin Boiler Works Co., Ltd. pressure-variable operation of the spiral coil DC furnace, single hearth, an intermediate reheat, the use of hedge combustion, balanced ventilation, solid slagging, all-steel suspension structure Π-type boiler, open-air arrangement of coal-fired boilers.
Pingwei Power Plant Phase III Project 2×1,000,000 kW domestic supercritical coal-fired generating units, simultaneous construction of flue gas desulphurisation and denitrification facilities, and connected to the power grid system at 1000 kV primary voltage.
Installed Capacity:
In 1993, the installed capacity of Pingwei power plant was 1.2 million kilowatts.
In 2007, the installed capacity of Pingwei power plant was 2.4 million kilowatts.
In 2015, the installed capacity of Pingwei power plant was 4.4 million kW.
