Guatemala JAGUAR2*150MW Coal-fired Power Plant
Project Overview:
Guatemala JAGUAR 2x150MW coal-fired power plant, located in the department of Escuintla, Guatemala, on the site of Tierra Colorada, 5.3 km east of the Guatemala City - Puerto Quetzal highway (80km) and approximately 20 km south of Puerto Quetzal. Guatemala Coal Fired Power Plant Project: Derrick, 86m high, total tonnage about 120 tonnes; plant complex pipeline 586m long, individual tonnage 240 tonnes.
In this project, steel sections and plates should be Q235B grade or above, and at the same time, for steel plates (including sections) with thickness >40mm, there should be requirements for tear-resistant Z-direction performance, with Z-direction performance grade of Z15 and above, and with content of S0.01%; carbon equivalent ≤0.36, and section shrinkage to meet the requirements in Appendix A of Welding Technical Specification for Steel Structures of Buildings; and at the same time, its material should meet the requirements in The national standard "Thickness Direction Performance Steel Plate" (GB/T5313). The main material of frame columns and beams of steel structure adopts welded and hot-rolled wide-flange day steel, and the strength grade is Q235B except those specially indicated, and the inter-column support adopts hot-rolled wide-flange day steel, and the strength grade is Q235B, and the chemical composition and mechanical property of the material shall meet the standards of Low-Alloy High-Strength Structural Steel (GB/T1591-94), and the connecting materials of the steel structure connection are suitable for the steel materials used in the connected members. The connection material of steel structure connection is compatible with the steel material used in the connected member. When connecting two kinds of steel with different strengths, connecting materials compatible with high-strength steel shall be used.
