Iraq Salahaddin 2×630MW Oil-fired Power Station Project
Project Overview:
Located on the Tigris side of the river, 186 kilometers north of Baghdad, Iraq's Salahaddin Oil and Gas Power Station, with an installed capacity of 2X630MW, is currently the largest single capacity power station project in operation in Iraq. The core equipment of the power station includes two 630MW sub-critical oil and gas units equipped with advanced boiler systems with sub-critical parameters, natural circulation, four tangential combustion methods, a single reheat, single-furnace, balanced-ventilated, all-steel-frame ladle boiler, which ensures high efficiency and long-term stability of the plant. Upon completion, the project will greatly alleviate the problem of tight local power supply and make a significant contribution to the local development of Iraq.
